Fees
At the Octagon we understand that parent’s like to spend time with their children during holidays. Because of this we offer 2 weeks nursery at half price. Any other holidays would have to be taken at full price (this does not include those children attending for Nursery Education Funding only).
When you and your child register at the nursery we will arrange 2 settling in visits. The first visit gives you and your child the chance to meet your key worker and to talk about the nursery, your child’s routine, etc. it also allows your child to explore the room while you are present. The second visit gives you the chance to leave your child for up to 2 hours. This gives them chance to get to know the staff, their new environment and meet new friends.
Nursery fees can be paid in a variety of different ways depending on which is suitable for you. You can choose to pay by cash, debit or credit card or by cheque on a weekly or monthly basis or you can set up a standing order. All fees are payable on the 1st of the month or beginning of the week (depending which payment option you choose). Fees are payable over 51 weeks as we are closed over the Christmas period. Families will get a 2 week holiday discount (as discussed above). Fees are expected for all other absences (e.g. if your child is off due to sickness, has an appointment, etc). This is in line with other day nurseries.
