Advanced/Refresher Warden Training

This two day training course is aimed at those who have already completed the five day NCFE Accredited Level 2 Community Core Warden training. The course will be completed over two days and delegates would need to attend on both days.

The refresher will focus on developing and maintaining skills such as customer service, problem solving, conflict management and effective communication, whilst exploring the role of Wardens within the context of Community Cohesion. The course places important emphasis on examining the role of partnerships within Neighbourhood Renewal and Regeneration and explores how to successfully participate in partnership working in order to deliver positive outcomes for communities.

Community Interaction Skills Training

The Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre works in partnership with the consultant Josephine Yates to deliver this 4 day course. The course has been devised especially for those who need particular skills to establish good inter-personal relations and the ability to avoid or minimise the occurrence of potentially difficult or dangerous situations. It is very important to work effectively at all times, but particularly when working with people who are in potentially hostile or dangerous situations, or who are vulnerable.

Developing 'Excellence in Customer Service' is vital to the success of any project, organisation or business. The Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre has developed a one day training package which develops knowledge and understanding of what make a customer service excellent.
