Dial-a-Ride service
Going shopping? Visiting friends? A doctor’s or hospital appointment? Leisure activities? The choice is yours with the West Hull Community Transport Dial-a-Ride service. If you find regular public transport difficult to use, then our orange buses could be just what you’ve been looking for.
Our friendly, professional drivers and reliable, comfortable buses can pick you up straight from your doorstep at times that suit you, take you to your destination and return to pick you up if required. All our buses are adapted to be wheelchair and scooter friendly, so they are accessible to all our passengers.
How it works
The service is supported by Hull City Council and you can get going in three easy steps
- Register for the service: To get started, you’ll need to register for the service, which couldn’t be easier. If you live in west Hull, just complete this form and return to us in the post. If you live in east Hull, please call East Hull community Transport on 01482 719600.
- Book your journey: After you’ve joined, simply call the booking hotline on 01482 226372 9am–6pm Monday–Friday. Tell us when you need to travel, where you are going and if you’d like a trip back. We advise booking the day before to avoid disappointment –in fact, the earlier you can tell us the better.
- Away you go: The orange bus will arrive at the appointed time – pay the fare just like a regular bus and away you go. You can be sure that we’ll always send a vehicle and trained driver that meets your needs and requirements. You can use the service to get to and from anywhere in the Hull area from Monday to Saturday.
To book, call us between 9am–6pm Monday–Friday, on 01482 226372
