Goodwin Development Trust – which has recently won Investors in Volunteers Accreditation - has a number of volunteer programmes operating from several of its premises.
Why Volunteer?

What we can offer you
- Training – we can provide training in many areas including Literacy and Numeracy to Level 2 and IT skills to advanced level
- Out of pocket expenses – this could include childcare and travel.
- Recognition and reference – certificates of achievement which could help with future job prospects.
- On-going support – support of both a large organisation such as Goodwin and of a network of specialists.

Doula Project
A pioneering project to recruit, train and match up volunteer Doulas with pregnant women who need support at what can be a lonely and difficult time.
Fenchurch Street Volunteer Program
Various skills required and opportunities available in and around the Fenchurch Street Centre. Recruiting, training and mentoring a group of volunters to help befriend the elderly and vulnerable.
